I get a "Service Ride Control" message. The car seems to handle fine, and
don't know how to check this. What is the error code for this and how do
I get to it? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know what a error code even is but, I have the same problem. My 1996
Cadillac Deville dealer told me it is around $2200.00 to fix. He said all
that does is make it ride a bit firmer. All I do is hit one of the buttons
on the display at the left side of the instrument panel and it goes away. I
have known this dealer for more than 20 years and I don't think he would
misguide me. Even the certified mechanic told me unless I have extra money
to throw away just hit one of the display buttons
I hope this helps:::::::::::::

What the message means is that the computer wants you to buy/install new
shocks/struts. It actually be time for new stuff, but you need not
replace the worn-out parts with exact replacement struts/shocks.
Regular passive replacements(no electronic components) will work just
fine. The 'message' can be disabled.
